Proposal at Goosberry Falls

Last friday after we launched the new website we headed up north to Duluth for a day trip. We visited Goosberry falls for a hike and on the way back we saw this couple walking far under the bridge we were walking on. Bethany said "hey I think that guy is proposing!" So I pulled the camera out and got a couple photos!

We couldn't get down to the base to get in touch with them as we were pretty far away but we left our contact info with the gift shop in case they stopped in. About an hour later, we got an email from the couple and sent them the photos!

Congrats to the couple at the falls!

Hey everyone! We have been busy these last couple of weeks photographing a lot! We have some really cool blog entries coming up soon. Here's last week's and this week's photo tips.

We get asked about what clothes to wear to an engagement session all the time. Really its all up to you! Wearing something that you normally would wear is important because you will feel like yourself. When you are being photographed as a couple its important to keep your outfits matching. It can be fun to go with a wardrobe theme depending on where your session will be photographed!

We always make sure to capture all the aspects of your wedding however, if a special performer has a connection to you its helpful to know so that we make sure to capture extra memorable photos of them.

Kaila and CJ

Hey all!

Ryan and I had the pleasure of photographing my dear friend Kaila and her wonderful boyfriend CJ this past weekend. I have known Kaila since she was born, her and I only have brothers so we are the closest thing we could get to sisters. She is my little sister. As young little girls we would spend most of our days in wild adventures, building forts and listing to the Newsboys. "Shine, make em wonder whatcha got". She will always remain my sister, and I am so grateful for her.

Kaila and CJ both have hearts of gold, they value people and spending time with the ones they are dear to them. I haven't met many couples who honor each other as much as these two. They are both so genuine with who they are and what they believe in it makes me so happy to see them together. We had a blast on this little shoot we did with them.
